Fundraising and Donations

SOFT UK is almost entirely dependant on fundraising and donations for all its work, so we are incredibly grateful to all our hard-working fundraisers and to those who kindly donate to us, however large or small their contribution.

We try to support our fundraisers and donors as much as possible, so please do get in touch with us so that we can give you the thanks you deserve!

  • if you would like a FUNDRAISING PACK please use the CONTACT FORM, email us on enquiries@soft.org.uk or give us a ring on 07923 056 132
  • We have a fantastic FUNDRAISING EVENTS page where we love to feature articles on your efforts.  If you would like your event featured on this page, please email information and preferably photos too, to database@soft.org.uk      And don't forget to update us after your event so we can let people know how much you raised!
  • We devote several pages of our twice yearly NEWSLETTER to covering fundraising events and acknowledging donations.  If you would like your event or your donation featured there please email newsletter@soft.org.uk with the details
  • SOFT UK is staffed almost entirely by volunteers and therefore it unfortunately is not possible for us to personally acknowledge every donation we receive.  If you require a receipt or other acknowledgement of your donation, please clearly request this when you send in your cheque, or contact Liz Egan, on donations@soft.org.uk

Please find loads of information about fundraising for SOFT UK in the links on the left.  If you can't find the answer to your question, would like some help with a fundraising event or would like to order fundraising materials, please use our CONTACT FORM, email enquiries@soft.org.uk or call us on 07923 056 132.

SOFT UK is evaluating how to best provide online support to members. We can create forums on our own website or use external communities like Facebook. Both options have their advantages and disadvantages in terms of us ensuring an active, safe community for members. As part of our decision making, it's vital that we hear your views about how you would prefer to receive your information and support.
