Vice President of Acorns Children’s Hospices in the West Midlands, and has lectured and published nationally and internationally in the field of special education, spiritual and religious care, palliative care and bereavement.
Professor John Carey
Dr. Carey has served as medical adviser and “founding professional” for SOFT USA since 1980 and is a Geneticist and Paediatrician. In 2011 he was the guest speaker at the SOFT UK Weekend and gave a talk about trisomy 13/18 based on one he gave in Japan and to the World Congress. Dr Carey hosted a clinic for invited professionals held informal workshops for parents.
