GROWTH CURVES

A baby with trisomy 13 or trisomy 18 is not expected to gain weight and height as quickly as a healthy infant. Dr John Carey, Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Medical Genetics and senior author on the original article by Baty et al. (where the original growth curves were published in 1994) and Ann M Barnes, author of  "The Care of the Infant and Child with Trisomy 18 or 13" (published by SOFT USA),  have kindly given permission to reproduce the weight, height and head circumference curves below. Click on the pdfs below.

2012 SOFT Weekend NEW LOCATION SOLIHULL Village Hotel May 5/6th

Solihull DeVere Village Hotel will be the 2012 venue for the SOFT Weekend.

There will be T13/18 specialist speakers, a Time of Remembrance, a family SOFT dinner on the evening of the 5th, and a balloon release.

Activities for children of all ages will replace the creche and the swimming leisure facilities are free to families who stay overnight.
