If you are caring for a child with T13/18 or a related disorder and join SOFT UK we will send you a free copy of Your Baby or the USA publication "Caring for a Child" if your child is over 12 months of age.

We will also notify you if we become aware of any grants you may be eligible to receive. Recently a Jeans for Genes grant paid the expenses of families who attended the SOFT UK Conference.

Sometimes SOFT UK is contacted by doctors or other professionals about research and where we are satisfied that the research proposal is satisfactory we may contact carers to ask if they wish to take part.

Families can also be linked to other families if they wish, and SOFT has access to professionals who can help when problems arise in several areas including benefits, legals rights - education, and residential planning for older children

SOFT UK children receive a birthday card each year, so please keep your details up to date.
