Making a Regular Donation to SOFT UK!

One of the things families ask us most often is how they can help SOFT UK!

Many people want to give something back to SOFT UK after they have received information or support from us, or after we have supported a family member or friend.

However life can be busy!  Its not always possible for people to volunteer for us to help on the ground.  It can also be difficult for families to spare cash in the current economic climate, especially when Christmas is on the horizon.

However helping SOFT UK has never been easier!

Making a regular donation to SOFT UK is a really effective way of helping us on an ongoing basis, even if you haven't got much cash to spare.

SOFT UK relies almost entirely on fundraising and donations to continue the work that we do; with families and within the NHS and other multi-agency communities. Regular donors are absolutely vital to our work.  Small regular contributions soon add up and give us financial security year round, meaning we are not waiting for the next big fundraiser to plan our work!

In a couple of clicks, you can use our online fundraising platform BTMyDonate to set up a recurring payment from your Debit or Credit Card. You can set up payments from as little as £2 per month. BTMyDonate even claims GIFT AID on our behalf if you are a UK Taxpayer, adding an extra 2.5% to your donation.

  • £5 funds a response to a family enquiry through our Helpline
  • £10 pays for a Trained Befriender to offer ongoing support to a family
  • £25 pays for a parent to attend one of our Family Events
  • £50 pays for the training for a Befriender to support families

The Small Print

BTMyDonate is the most cost effective online fundraising platform for charities.  It does not charge fees or commission.  There is a 2% card processing fee deducted.
