You’re Not Alone- A Creative Collaboration for SOFT UK and Same but Different
We have the great pleasure to announce that we are working on an exciting collaboration with Same
but Different, a not-for-profit organisation that uses art forms including photography and film, to tell
stories surrounding rare diseases. This project, entitled You’re Not Alone, is funded by Illumina and
the National Lottery Community Fund for Wales.
Do you have experience of Trisomy 13 or 18 or related conditions and would like to tell your story?
Or would you like to help other families on their own Trisomy journey? We would love to hear a
diverse range of perspectives including those of mums, dads, grandparents, and siblings. Families
with young children affected by Trisomy, and those with older children. Those that are bereaved;
and those that have ended pregnancies. Along with those that have received a Trisomy diagnosis
during pregnancy.
We hope to create a rich tapestry of voices to help those affected by Trisomy. If you would like to
retain your anonymity, that will be respected.
We would like to invite you all to take part in the initial conversations to shape this project, to see
