Research on First Trimester Screening in Northern Ireland
We are carrying out research in Northern Ireland about universal first trimester screening in pregnancy. We would like to speak to a range of stakeholders, including parents, healthcare professionals, academics, professional bodies, charities and government organisations.
We are inviting you as a parent of a child with Trisomy 13 or Trisomy 18 to share your thoughts, views and experiences.

Who is eligible?
You are eligible to take part if you:
Are over 18
Have had a baby with Trisomy 13 or Trisomy
You received your care in NI
Your care experience was in the past 5 years
What is involved?
If you decide to be involved you will be asked to take part in a group discussion with other parents from SOFT NI. This will led by the research team and held on Thursday 19*h June 7.00-9.30pm at Ulster University (Belfast Campus).
This meeting will not be recorded but researchers will write anonymous notes from discussions.
