SOFT TRUSTEE

SOFT UK is a UK wide charity that provides information and support to families affected by Trisomy 13, Trisomy 18 and related conditions.  We provide support at all stages of a family’s journey; expecting a baby, caring for a child, ending a pregnancy, coping with bereavement and beyond.

The Board is responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the Charity and for developing its aims, objectives and goals in accordance with its members needs and the Trust’s Deed.  The Board is further responsible for ensuring that in all its decision-making, the needs of the whole organisation remain its overriding concern.

SOFT UK Trustees are drawn largely from parent / family members or other professionals with skills complimentary to the objectives of the charity.
